“Aladdin” the Panto Auditions are being held Sunday, January 14

Theatre Quadra is delighted to be bringing Aladdin the Pantomime by Ben Crocker to the Quadra stage. Mark your calendars for May 3rd, 4th or 5th performances. Crocker is a renowned pantomime author whose awareness of what really makes a panto and attention to comic detail result in sheer good fun for his audiences. Quadra has been entertained by two of his pantomimes: Cinderella and Robin Hood.

Aladdin is a fun-packed, fast-moving, song-and-dance play with a cast of colourful, often zany characters. Characters such as: two genies, an evil magician, a panda, an emperor, a hero and of course a beautiful princess. The panto includes active audience participation, lots of laughs, a bit of slapstick and provoking one-liners reflecting life on Quadra. This is a show to be enjoyed by all ages.

Interested in participating in a rollicking good fun production?

Aladdin has parts for everyone, both on stage or off, with roles for singing and non-singing actors as well as for children. Both auditions and a production meeting will be held on Sunday, January 14 at the Quadra Legion in Heriot Bay. The auditions will be from 1-3pm and the production meeting from 3:30-4:30pm. If you wish, join us for both. Please let us know if you are interested but unable to attend either the auditions or production meeting.

Looking forward to seeing you on January 14th!

Warmest regards,
The Theatre Quadra Team
