Backstage Crew Needed

For our exciting 2025 production of All Shook Up!

Theatre Quadra is ready to shake the rafters, raise the roof and see dancing in the aisles with their spring 2025 presentation of All Shook Up by Joe Dipietro. All Shook Up is a lively, entertaining musical with an Elvis theme. The play takes place in a small unnamed, very conservative town in the 1950s. This unsuspecting town finds itself all shook up when a mysterious stranger wearing a leather jacket and blue suede shoes rides into town on his motorcycle with a guitar. This rebel plans to teach the townspeople how to live it up a little. His plan sends the townsfolk headed down the path of romantic tomfoolery and creates some predictable conflict with the conservative mayor and sheriff. This spirited and fast paced musical is full of familiar songs made popular by Elvis. The tentative date for the play is the end of April 2025 and it promises to be a rock ‘n’ rollin’ good time for actors as well as audiences.

Theatre Quadra has no doubt they will find enthusiastic actors ready to sing and dance on stage. There are 5 male parts and 5 female parts as well as an ensemble of townspeople. However, before plans can be finalized, there remains the challenge of finding production, backstage and other behind the scene people to be the engine that brings a play to life. The crucial positions needing to be filled in order to be able to go forward with this exciting production are those of Producer, Director, Stage Manager, Costume Coordinator and Set Designer. (We are open to discussions about job sharing.) Once those positions are filled there will be many behind the scene opportunities to be part of the team bringing this sure-to-be-a-hit play to the stage.

We are reaching out to you, our Quadra theatre community, for help filling these significant positions. Sadly, if we are unable to fill these jobs, the production plans will have to be canceled for 2025.
