Meet the Cast of Chicago!
Attention all music and theatre lovers! Theatre Quadra is proud to present the upcoming stage production of Chicago, and we are thrilled to introduce our talented cast.

Kate Alexandra
as Roxy Hart
From children’s music teacher to stage performer, Kate Alexandra is living her dream! She’s thrilled to be playing Roxie in our upcoming production of Chicago.
You might recognize her from her stunning performance as Frankenfurter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, or as the musical director for South Pacific and Robin Hood.
Kate has also taught musical theatre to aspiring young performers at various schools and founded Island Theatre Kids, a company bringing theatre to kids on Quadra and Read Island.
Since becoming a mother in 2020, Kate has focused on teaching music from her home studio, Move with Kate. But now, she’s back on stage and ready to shine in her first big role since giving birth to her son. Don’t miss Kate’s incredible performance in our upcoming show!

Andrea Blaseckie
as Velma Kelly
Get ready to be blown away by Andrea’s talent as she takes on the iconic role of Velma Kelly! You may have heard her before as part of the bands for Mama Mia and Rocky Horror Picture Show. But now, she’s making her on-stage debut with Theatre Quadra and is excited to show off her singing, dancing, and acting skills.
When she’s not in rehearsals, Andrea is a member of local Quadra Island bands “Willow” and “Folk 2 Funk,” and she even makes the best cloud latte art at Java Bay, where she’s the self-appointed Employee of the Month!
Fun fact: Andrea has also travelled to parts of the United States and Europe as a backup singer for an international performing group, where she played the role of “Mother Earth” in multiple languages and performed in front of a crowd of 30,000 boy scouts!
Don’t miss her unforgettable performance as Velma Kelly.

Victor Jordan
as Billy Flynn
Meet Victor, our singing doctor who simply couldn’t resist the opportunity to play one of his dream roles in this iconic musical. With a love for jazz and live community theatre, Victor has been a seasoned performer with the Shoreline Musical Theatre group since 2009, showcasing his talent in various musicals including “Sweet Charity,” “Hello Dolly,” “The Sound of Music,” and “Mary Poppins,” as well as themed compilations like “Come Fly with Me.” He’s thrilled to have the support of his beloved wife, Kirsten, and their four amazing kids who helped him learn his lines. Chicago might be a tough town, but Victor knows that Quadra is the best place on earth, and he can’t wait to entertain you with his amazing performance.

Julie Rigby
as Matron “Mama” Morton
Our very own Julie is back and bursting with excitement to be a part of our upcoming production of Chicago. You might recognize Julie from her other performances on the island, like “Julie and the Three Betty’s,” “Love Letters,” or “Late Night with Julie.” And if you’ve seen any of Campbell River’s productions, you may have caught her in “The Odd Couple” (female version), “Big Maggie,” “Hello Dolly,” or “Shirley Valentine.” But here’s the thing: even though she’s directed “Mama Mia” and “Steel Magnolias” here on Quadra, she’s never actually performed on our stage before! It’s hard to believe, but true. So get ready to be razzle dazzled by Julie’s debut performance!
