Dick Whittington and his Wonderful Cats
This play was adapted as a good fun pantomime for all ages by a Quadra author. It was based on England folk lore, but the action takes place in the Discovery Islands. The show was presented at evening and matinee performance in the Quadra Community Centre. An announcement in the program reflected the lighthearted tone of the evening. It read: boo the bad guys, cheer the good guys and keep children in their seats or they are likely to be eaten by a sea-serpent.
